Somerset Scout’s County Challenge

Annual Event of the Scout Section!

This year’s Challenge will be taking place at Huish Woods Camp Site near Taunton. The event is designed for Scouts of all ages to participate. Scouts will need to register between 3.30pm and 4.40pm. The Challenge will then start at 5.00pm. Scouts will be ready to leave by 9:30pm.

The Challenge

The challenge will involve the Patrols going round to a selection of bases located around the campsite. At each base the Scouts will need to complete a ‘Scout’ Challenge, these challenge’s will all be from the Scout Section Programme. Each base will last no longer than 15 minutes. The Patrol with the highest Score at the end of the evening will receive the Challenge Trophy. Due to the number of bases a maximum of 44 patrols will be able to enter the event, this will be allocated on the first 44 patrols to book in and pay in full.
