Young Leader Training Weekend

The next Young Leader training weekend is 4th – 5th October 2019

The format of the weekends will be similar to previous weekends.  The modules which will be covered will be confirmed closer to the event

The weekend will take place at Huish Woods.  It is also fully catered.  The cost is £20. Applications are welcome from all those taking part in the Young Leaders Scheme.  The weekend is normally very popular so early booking is welcome. It would be preferred that booking is done by email.  The health form is in Word format so that it can be typed into.  Please attach the health form as we need to know about dietary requirements and the like before the weekend. Payment can be made on the weekend.

Participants should arrive at 9am on the Saturday and we will be finished at 3pm on the Sunday.  They will need to bring a tent, uniform (for Saturday evening only), warm sleeping kit, torch, indoor and outdoor clothing, and footwear.  I have deliberately not included a kit list, but if unsure please get in touch.  You may want to bring indoor footwear (ie crocs, trainers).

In the last weekend we included some activities that young leaders could use with their sections to encourage Youth Shaped Scouting.  If anyone has a particular module or something else they feel they need please let me know as we could accommodate this in this or future weekends.
